TEDxCincy

The well-known and well-loved conference TEDx will be held in Cincinnati on May 10.

TEDxCincy will take place at the Erich Kunzel Center for Arts and Education School for the Creative and Performing Arts. The theme is “Plugged and Unplugged: The Crossroads of Technology and Artisanship”.

The event will feature several speakers –some of which have not yet been announced—including Chris Erb, who works for EA Sports and helps develop games such as Madden ’13 and Steve Fulton, a test pilot for GE aviation.

This is the second time the event has occurred. The first event occurred in 2010 and was themed PASSION; the organization was unable to hold the event in 2011.

Tickets are on sale now for the event. They cost $15 per person if you use the student discount and bring you ID to the event or $30 for the non-discounted tickets.

You can find more information at tedxcincy.com.

If you love lectures or are attracted by the theme, I recommend the TEDxCincy event; get your tickets soon because they will run out soon.
