THS Cross Country Starts Strong

OXFORD, Ohio — The THS cross country team has started the season off strong with great performances all around. We’ve had four meets so far, with our fifth being on September 14. These are the meets that we have attended so far with links to the results:

Saturday, August 21: THS @ OHSAA Pre-Season Inv. (Fortress Obetz)

Saturday, August 28: THS/TMS Talawanda Brave Inv. (Talawanda High School)

Saturday, September 4: THS/TMS @ Miamisburg Inv.

Saturday, September 11: THS @ Seneca East Stars, Stripes, and Lights (top 10)

    THS/TMS @ Brookville Ohio Inv.

Although this season is less restricted than our last, COVID-19 precautions still remain in place. Despite this, our team has been able to come together and put out our best effort at practices and meets. From watching Mr. Mills lose in pre-practice four square, to long runs, to getting personal records, the season has been great so far. We have many great runners this year and we hope to keep improving in preparation for SWOC. It is meant to take place on October 16 at Edgewood. Hopefully, both the girls and the boys can defend their title as winners of SWOC from last year. There are several more meets coming up (listed below), and we all have high hopes for how they will turn out.
