The cross country season is officially over. Here is a final statement from Coach Stiver:
“What an exciting way to end the season! For the first time since 1988 we had multiple people running at the State Meet. It was also the first time since 1985 that we had both a male and female running at the state meet.
Both runners ran great races and moved up throughout the race. Hannah especially made a big move during the second mile of the race to pass 18 people. With their top 30 finishes, both were named All-Ohio. Kiefer was 20th and Hannah 27th. Hannah was also named Academic All-Ohio for maintaining an unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher and qualifying to the State Meet.
We are extremely grateful that we were able to make it through the complete season.
Both teams repeated at SWOC champions. Hannah and Kiefer were SWOC runners of the year. The girls qualified to the Regional Meet for the fourth year in a row. A great season!”
