The Wall’s Response to the Second Presidential Debate
For anyone who’s still skeptical about the state of the election and the credibility of either of this great candidates let’s take a second to think about how these candidates truly represent America. Here at the wall after we had a quick debate about what we thought of the debate we’ve come to one conclusion. They both represent the American people perfectly and are a full reflection of the kind of leaders we want to elect. When you see a debate where the candidates go on stage without even shaking hands and are then expected to say something positive about one another in the end, then that just shows how much respect they have. Despite what many of those other news networks will say. Here at the wall we believe that it’s important to have equal respect for both candidates and let the clearly intelligent people of America decide the fate of our nation. Perhaps if we allow these kind of trends to continue in politics, then maybe we’ll have some of the best leaders in our nation’s history. When these two great leaders go up on stage in front of millions of people and spend half the time trying to talk over one another instead of actually debating, that just goes to show that we need someone who’s louder more so than they are smarter. We’ve had leaders that are loud over the years yet never have we had candidates that are so understanding of the average American.
But more than anything this political debate was important because it decides who is going to decide what to do with possibly the biggest military power in the world. Donald Trump when asked about his comments on Friday decided to instead talk about more intriguing topics like defeating ISIS almost right off the bat. Then we had Hillary Clinton who couldn’t even think of one good thing to say about her opponent and instead decided to compliment his children as complementing Trump himself would be a betrayal to her views. Here at The Wall being the most trusted and only news source currently in the Talawanda Tribune debating politics, we believe that after seeing Trump go a full 30 minutes without shooting himself in the foot by saying something out of touch with reality. It proves that Trump is perfectly fit to control our entire nation for the next four years. Last nights debate of course did explain a little more about these candidates foreign policy and health care, but like all politicians all we heard was pure political fluff on the matter with Clinton saying we need to salvage Obama care and Trump saying we need to give Obama care the wrecking ball. Obama care has clearly been such a great thing for our nation that many people have proven that Trump’s comments were inaccurate or simply false, and clearly we’ve noticed so many great things about Obamacare when we have insurance companies that refuse to pay for half the stuff we need and would rather pocket our money than care about our health.
At the same time though, many people want to hear about how we should fix our problems in the Middle East. Trump had a well thought out idea that we should never tell the American population and while they aren’t looking send special forces into the Middle East. Clearly Russia and Assad’s regime are doing enough damage to ISIS according to Trump and in a way we should just work by them rather than face our issues head on. While Clinton disagreed but never gave much of a solution we can remember for that matter because here at the wall we don’t properly fact checks like ever great news site should do. We also believe that it’s more important to state what both candidates did wrong rather than the positives because clearly no one wants to read those. This debate even ended without one of the candidates naming a single policy they want to fully enact on really just about any of the issues in our society right now and if anything all it shows is that both these candidates are great politicians because at least they understand what a politician does and how they act.
Looking back at this debate The Wall has decided that this was a well balanced debate and the Commentators did such an amazing job of throwing the hammer over these candidates and kept them on a tight leash so they can’t lash out at one another at random intervals. Oh wait that did happen? Oh well at least we can just say that our side of the story is right with no factual information until someone proves otherwise. But seriously this debate just proves that we should take the safe route here and not elect any more candidates that none of us trust to run our country and I utterly doubt that either of these candidates will last more than one term. But wait there’s more, people on social media are saying that the people that asked the questions were actually better than the candidates themselves in the debate which just kind of proves the point I’ve been making this entire time if anyone hasn’t noticed and if you haven’t well then it’s not exactly my fault so have a good one and maybe I’ll have another article up in a week or maybe a month if I can be bothered.
