To Shave or Not To Shave

Movember 2013 has come to an end, faces are clean shaven, and MOhio has totaled up the funds raised over the course of November. The team raised a total of $2,635 but failed to reach its goal of $5,000.

Team captain Matt Aerni raised a total of $220.55 and said he intends to participate in Movember next year. “We are a unified moustache growing club, it’s fun,” said Aerni. He said that he does intend on keeping his facial hair for “the next month or so”.

Leader in funds and foreign language teacher Nathaniel Silberstein said that Movember was a success this year. Silberstein was the leader in funds raised this year, raising a total of $458.32. “This year I had a little competition where each class could donate, and whichever class donated the most, we were going to have a little fiesta or pizza party, so an incentive for the students,” said Silberstein. “I had to shave the moustache but I’m growing the beard back”.

He says that he will participate next year and probably every year after that.
