Art Department Mural: Coming Soon!

The Talawanda Art Club, led by Jim and Elise McWilliams, is in the process of developing a mural which will be displayed in the art hallway.

The mural will be painted on a 6 foot by 10 foot canvas, using acrylic paints. The canvas has been pre-gessoed and has grommets for hanging, McWilliams tell.

At the moment, the art club is just sketching ideas. Some ideas have been to paint the Cincinnati skyline, but ideas are still being tossed around.

“The mural is being painted to create more art to hang in the school,” says Mr. McWilliams, “To make our school more beautiful, less sterile, and give it more personality.”

Anybody who would like to contribute is welcome, just go to the art-hallway after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays to help out.
