A Delicious Chocolate-Caramel Iced Coffee
Some of the best recipes are the ones that don’t require strict adherence to measurements. Here is such a recipe, with a taste that will blow your mind and leave your tongue in a state of euphoria. Here’s the directions:
You’ll need:
- Ice
- Coffee
- Chocolate Milk
- Caramel
- Sugar, if desired
Here’s what to do:
- Choose your cup (Do you want a lot of coffee or just a little?).
- Fill your cup only halfway with ice. Shaved/crushed ice works best for this, but cubed is satisfactory.
- With the ice in the cup, pour some chocolate milk in. You’ll want to make sure you don’t use too much— just underneath the level of the ice is a good amount.
- Pour in your coffee, leaving a good half-inch room at the top.
- Get your spoon ready.
- Slowly add your caramel, stirring vigorously. Don’t let it clump at the bottom. Add as much as you think tastes good.
- If you’re in love with sweetness, you can add about a tablespoon of sugar, but the end result is usually pretty sweet.
- If you want to look professional, add a swirl of whipped cream to the top and drizzle caramel lightly on top of that.
- If you feel like getting really fancy, swirl some light caramel and chocolate syrups around a separate cup, and pour in the contents of the other cup, so as not to ruin the design.
- Enjoy!
Of course, you can vary the recipe. For an all-caramel treat, replace the chocolate milk with white milk, and use about a tablespoon of sugar. For a delicious all-chocolate treat, use either chocolate milk or chocolate syrup, and some sugar.
