Roethlisberger Throws His Cap

Ben Roethlisberger graduated in our backyard on Sunday, May 6th with a Bachelor’s degree in education from Miami University. He was accompanied by his wife, parents and grandmother.

Roethlisberger was 4 courses shy of graduation when he was drafted into the NFL in 2004.

The Steelers’ quarterback played Miami University Football as a RedHawk and set several school records for passing.

“Graduating college feels better than winning any Superbowl,” said Roethlisberger, who will start his ninth season with the Steelers this Fall.
