How To Make a Homemade Starbucks Frappuccino
With the smell of sweet summer lingering in the air, what better way to enjoy it than with the ever-popular Starbucks Frappuccino? This cold treat is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth, but who wants to drive to Starbucks and pay an upwards four dollars per drink? Here at the Talawanda Tribune, we have found a simple, tasty and cheap home recipe.
You will need:
¾ cup double-strength coffee (cold) *
3 tablespoons sugar
1 cup milk
2 cups ice
3 tablespoons chocolate syrup **
A can of whipped cream for the topping (optional)
*To make double-strength coffee, measure two tablespoons of ground coffee per cup of water. So, if you’re making four cups of coffee, use eight tablespoons of ground coffee beans.
**If you desire another flavor, replace this syrup with another.
Making it is simple! Pour all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Then pour contents into a 16 oz container and top with whipped cream. Ta-da! You now have a copy-cat of a Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino. Enjoy!
