Teachers unabashedly bash autistic child
Stuart Chaifetz of Cherry Hill, NJ knew something was wrong when he saw that his autistic boy, Akian, was upset. Akian has the ability to talk, but the communication is impaired. Chaifetz decided to attach a digital tape recorder to his son’s clothes—and got six and a half hours of shocking audio.
Several insults are thrown at Akian by various adults. He is called a bastard, among several other insults that can be found on the video he made to publicize the matter (click the link below).
“When I heard the audio, my life was forever changed,” Chaifetz says, regarding the treatment of his son. “As a father and an activist and a human being, I could not stay quiet.”
Upon hearing the recording, he went immediately to Cherry Hill school officials. One aide was promptly fired, but no further action was taken. Chaifetz says he wants an apology and legislative action. He says if the teacher is not soon fired, he will release names of the aide and teacher.

By 2017, all pork and eggs will be cage-free
In a move that put a smile on animal activists’ faces, Burger King announced they will use only cage-free eggs and chickens by 2017. They will be the first major U.S. fast-food chain to make such a claim. Similar claims have been made by rival companies, but not with as large a scope.
