PRIDE Day After Thoughts
Now that 80 sophomores attended PRIDE Day on Monday, April 16th, they have better connections with their class. “I feel like the girls now have a better bond with one another,” stated Ethan Saulnier.
They had a fun experience playing games to get a better understand of each other. Sam Hannon and Victoria Heinrich both agreed that ‘cross the line’ was their favorite. “It was really eye opening to see who all had things in common with each other,” they stated.
Many sophomores felt the group family decisions where the most helpful. “I didn’t expect to say much, but they opened up a lot more and in return I did as well. I feel a lot more connected,” stated Mary Curme.
After having the PRIDE Day experience, many sophomore’s point of view on it changed drastically. “I was pretty frightened, and expecting a lot of people to have deep life stories. I understood others struggles in life as the day went on, I now have love and respect for my fellow classmates,” explained Ross Gann.
PRIDE Day was a success and some Sophomores would enjoy going back and doing it again.
