What to do on a rainy day.
With April showers proving to be true this month in Oxford, here are a couple things you can do to pass the time.
One: Make a fort in your living room and pretend you’re camping out. If you have siblings it could be fun to tell stories and act like you are roughing it in the wilderness.
Two: Spend a whole family day together. Get out all those board games and wipe the dust off of them. Nothing makes time go faster than having fun with the family.
Three: Take yarn, chairs, and any other object that can be manovered around. Set all these items up in a pattern around the house, or in one room. There! You have an obstacle course you can race through.
Four: Watch movies all day! If you love movies and don’t really have the time do watch them, a rainy day will be perfect for this. To inhance the effect, grab a pillow and a blanket and make some popcorn. It’s bound to be a blast.
Fifth: Make cookies or any other little goodies. Making tasty food is a sure way to make the time fly and if you’re good at cooking, try out something extreme to bake.
Now that there’s a small list of things to do on a rainy day, make sure you try to put some of them to use.
On a rainy day, I prefer a good slumber session over anything else.
