American alternative rock band, The Fray are scheduled to visit Oxford on Wednesday, April 18th, where the Grammy nominated band will perform in front of thousands of Miami and Talawanda students.

With anticipation rising, sophomore Jordan Smith is looking forward to the concert. “I’m so pumped!  It’s my favorite band!”

Formed in 2002, The Fray have made a name for themselves with their debut album, How To Save A Life in 2005.  The band’s most recent album, Scars and Stories was released in 2012.

The Fray are in the vein of similar bands such as Coldplay or Keane that feature catchy hooks and memorable melodies.

Joe King, Issac Slade, Dave Welsh, Ben Wysocki, and Jeremy McCoy make up the band who originated in Denver Colorado as a small church band, before going on to commercial success.

The Fray plays Millett Hall on Wednesday, April 18th.  Tickets are on sale now.
