What’s in Store For Jersey Shore?

With Snooki pregnant and Mike “The Situation” in rehab, questions and rumors are flying around for the future plans of the hit reality show Jersey Shore.

It was world news when it was announced that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was pregnant with her first child with now fiancé, Jionni Lavelle. While the mother to be was excited, fans of the show were left wondering, “What will happen now?” with Snooki announcing that she was in fact pregnant, engaged and, as a result, giving up alcohol.

If this was not enough pressure for fans of the series, It was also recently announced that Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino entered rehab for alcohol abuse. If The Situation returns to the show and they allow him to drink again the producers are set to receive mass criticisms as enablers. However, if they keep him sober, there is a likely hood for the show to lose viewers.

MTV has remained quiet about the issue only stating that, “We have no comment about Mike.” In regards to Snooki they said, “We wish Nicole a healthy and happy pregnancy, and congratulate her on her engagement. We support her as she starts this new chapter of her life.”

The network also has said that they are “undecided” on plans for renewing the show for a sixth season.
