Covid-19 Vaccine Now Available to Teens

As you know, the coronavirus vaccine is being distributed around the United States. Recently, it has been decided that teenagers who are at least 16 years old are eligible to receive a vaccine. It was set to start in distribution Phase 2D, which began on March 29.

The Ohio Department of Health has given clear guidelines for receiving the vaccine if you are a teenager who is at least 16. If you are 16 or 17, you are required to have permission from your parents or legal guardians to get the vaccine. Also, the only type of vaccine that you can get is the Pfizer vaccine since it is the only one that has been approved for people in that age range.

To book an appointment to receive a vaccine, go to gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov/. There, you will be asked a few questions in order to check your eligibility. If you are 16 or 17, a parent or guardian has to fill out the form for you. Furthermore, you will be able to book an appointment to receive the vaccine.
