New Freshman Volleyball Coach

Talawanda’s volleyball program has four new coaches. Talawanda Middle School paraprofessional, Coach TaitEnrico Tait is head of the freshman team.

This will be Tait’s first year coaching Volleyball at Talawanda High School. Tait has been coaching since 2002; he has coached volleyball, track, basketball, and football. For Tait, coaching is “being given the opportunity to change people’s lives.”

Freshman VolleyballTait has been competing in volleyball competitions for ten years now and has coached four seasons of volleyball. Tait believes that his girls have a lot of potential and he wants to bring it out of them. The girls finished the seasons with a record of 11 wins and 7 losses.

Although Tait loves to coach volleyball, his all time favorite sport to coach is basketball. “Basketball is competitive, fast paced and exciting!” Tait even described it as “going to war with the other coach.”

To have the best relationship with his team, Tait believes in open communication, honesty trust and respect. “Being a friend more than a coach, assuring them that they can talk to me about anything, not only on the court, but in their home lives also.”
