Homemade Popsicles: A Nice Summer Treat
With summer break just around the corner, the excruciating hot days are here. There are many ways to cool down during the summer such, as lemonade or sweet tea, but this fresh fruit popsicle is a great cold and healthy treat.
You will need:
Any type of fruit (strawberries, kiwis, blueberries, watermelon, etc.)
Juice (any type will work)
Popcicle mold (you can also just use a paper cup and popsicle stick)
Cut up your fruit in thin slices.
Add the fruit into the popsicle mold so that it takes up about 3/4 of it. If you have more than one type of fruit, try to disribute it as evenly as possible in each of the molds. To make the popsicle look a bit prettier, you can stick some of the slices of fruit to the side of the mold.
Add the juice to the mold, making sure you leave a bit of room at the top so when you put the stick in, it doesn’t over flow.
Put the popcicles in the freezer for a few hours or whenever you think they will be ready, if you find that it is difficult to take the popcicle out of the mold, run it under warm water for a few seconds.
Enjoy!
Another alternative to this recipe is to blend it first. To do this, you would simply cut up the fruit and put it in a blender, add some juice (you can also add a bit of yogurt) and blend. Then you put that in the mold and freeze it.

Wow, a story on how to make popsicles! You must be a genius. What is next, a story on how to eat popsicles?
How about a story about getting milkshakes? Or get someone to confess to something? Sam here would be good at that one, not so good at the first one.
