10 Guidelines to Getting Through the School Year

As the 2011-2012  school year comes to an end, there’s many different ways of coping. Studying, cramming in assignments, senioritis, slacking, you name it.

Here are some helpful tips on getting to the end of the year.

1. A healthy breakfast is key. Peanut brittle and tacos are a sure start to the day.

2. Wearing Pajama’s all day and every day helps with comfort. Hello Kitty and Tweety Bird are best.

3. Filling your water bottle with any unclear liquid in an unclear bottle is a great way to be sent to the office. Office = No class.

4. Pick up a desk or two and start screaming “Yolo” while tossing it across the room.

5. Turn in all assignments at least a week late, that will give you time to get ready for your play date with Mr. Malone.

6. The less straps, the better.

7. Backpack wearing will help you to be in class on time since you don’t have to stop at your locker.

8. Texting yourself reminders every 3-7 minutes about your homework. If your teacher asks, you’re doing homework.

9. Everyday pop-ins with Mr. Schmid on the Nebular Theory and Periodic Table of Elements should make the time fly. Do this periodically.

10. Leave school about 3-5 hours early so you don’t miss your bus, and to make sure your car isn’t stolen by naked gunmen running around Oxford.

By proceding with these small guidelines, the end of your year should be relatively short and breeze by.
